Richmond Community Theatre presents an "Acting in Comedies" workshop, led by internationally recognized playwrights Michael Parker and Susan Parker, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19.

The workshop will be held at the Rotary Lodge at Hinson Lake, 152 Hinson Lake Road, Rockingham.

The cost is $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors and $10 for high school students 16-plus.

This is an active participatory workshop for anyone 16 and up who wants to learn about acting in comedies.

Secure a spot in the workshop by paying in advance at the box office. Box office hours are from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 14-18.

Michael and Susan Parker will also be speaking at Richmond Community Theatre on May 18 at 7:30 p.m. prior to a performance about their play "What Is Susan's Secret?"
