Aberdeen Police Reports Through May 14

The Aberdeen Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

May 10: Randy Lee Whitaker, 36, of Carthage, misdemeanor larceny, two counts of trespassing, felony larceny from a vehicle and felony possessing and/or concealing stolen property; Anthony Micheal Hoffarth, 55, of Aberdeen, misdemeanor shoplifting; Larisa Anne Whitaker, 42, of Carthage, felony possessing/concealing stolen property.

May 11: Christina Marie Stenseth, 20, of Aberdeen, larceny; Justin Yuan-Kit Kwong, 21, of Southern Pines, possession of drug paraphernalia; Farrell Arnez Thompson, 50, of Aberdeen, larceny, possessing/concealing stolen property.

May 13: Mark McLaughlin, 50, of Southern Pines, simple assault, escape custody or resist arrest.

May 14: Roosevelt McNeill, 55, of Aberdeen, larceny-shoplifting and possessing/concealing stolen goods.

Reports

May 10: An employee of TJ Maxx, 125 Aberdeen Pines St., reported a known subject took items from the store; Male, 60, reported someone broke into a home in the 100 block of Springs Street and stole copper piping; An employee of Walmart, 250 Turner St., reported the theft of food and clothing from the store.

May 12: Female, 51, reported another threatened her during an incident on Lakeshore Drive near U.S. 1; Male, 32, reported someone broke into a 2003 Isuzu and removed a CD case and assorted CDs; Male, 68, reported the theft of a watch from a home at Magnolia Gardens.

May 13: Female, 29, reported someone took money from the victim at Walmart, 250 Turner St.
