Three Face Charges in Robbins Break-in

Moore County Sheriff's investigators have arrested and charged three people in connection with a break-in and larceny that occurred in Robbins.
Richard Matthew Pope, 21, of the 100 block of Elizabeth Lane, Robbins, Marco Antonio Lopez, 19, of the 200 block of Hemp Street, Robbins, and Ali Gonzalez Ocampo, 20, of the 100 block of Green Street, Robibins, are all charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and felony possession of stolen goods. Pope's bail was set at $10,000 unsecured. Lopez received a $7,500 secured bond and Ocampo's bond was set at $5,000 unsecured.
Officers arrested Pope and Lopez on May 7. Ocampo was arrested on May 9.
The incident was reported on May 3 when Maria Lopez reported someone broke into her home in Robbins and removed three video game systems, assorted games, two watches and a portable dvd player.

They might be Borracho or Alto. After all, one of them lives on Hemp Street!!! AND one on Green Street! Priceless. You cant make this stuff up.

BlueEyedSiren, They are smiling,they have no idea what their being told,their always smiling.living the American dream,free lodging and meals,in their own country now they would be treated abit differently,but here it will be probation,community service and a slap on the wrist,they also will achieve all of this by getting defended by a taxpayer paid lawyer,yep they have reason to smile.

cantstandya: when you mentioned something about "their own country" which country were you Thinking? and what make you think that they are illegals? Just because they are hispanics does not say that they are illegals. Both of them are american citizens. They were born in the same land that you and me were born. And I can tell you that they will not use any attorney paid by our tax money. And before you jump to any conclusion they parents are legal too. And you might ask how do I know? Easy...I live in Robbins, and when I heard about it I checked before jumping to any conclusion.

bustedfriend,Well congradulations on your research an for correcting my assumptions,but you had to wonder yourself or you would have not looked into it,but even with legal documents I still suspect many of not being legal,why because like you I have alittle experience with some myself,I would rather be wrong and not except many on their word or even some of their documents,and as far as my memory,well I really don't keep tabs on each and every crime but it was just that Pope name came to mind,had no intention on offending anyone one but it is always at the back of many of peoples minds or may just be me, that the assumption of legals or illegals comes to mind,construction in this area is full of both,and many of concrete finishers and masons come from your home town in Robbins,some legal,some not.

bustedfriend,Had just one question and that would be the means you obtained proof of their lergal citizanship,was it E-Verify,USCIS records or thru a FOIA Request,because other than those all other documents showing legal status are easily obtained,not wanting to question your method,just want to make sure you are not accepting school records or some,SS number or even birth certificate all are forged on a daily basis,see I do know alittle about this myself,just asking for your means of verifying no offense intended.

Cantstandya because of my line of work I do access to some things that other person does not have it. Not only these 2 men are legal (they were born in the US) but they parents too. If Lopez were not legal or if he was using any fake documents when he was arrested on March ICE would come and get him. The minute that they booked him and got his info ICE would put a hold on him and they would come and pick him up. And I am not offended. I really understand where you are coming from.

bustedfriend,Well I am glad to know they are not illegals and others such as yourself seem to be aware of the current problem and do take the time to look into these type matters, it is really a shame that it has come to this but with so many not being legal it does shed a bad light on even those who are of the same ethnic group,but any way glad you also share an interest as you must,have a good one.

cantstandya 1 month ago I don't like Blacks,I don't like Mexicans,and I don't like the Hispanics that are sneaking in here from South America ,but worse is the White people that advocate for them,they are far worse than any of the above,have read better news coverage on the walls of a out house on a shrimp boat than I have here,so goodby to all of you yellow bellied whites that want to lay down with all your illegal and black friends to spineless to stand your ground,may you reap the rewards of cowardice.I'm done with this site and they are done with me,afraid to print anything positive about Zimmerman as it may have an adverese effect on their circulation,I'm sure in the location that the Pilot is in they have to be careful of bias comments that may well reflect a degree of justified shooting of that Martin boy,and justiceforall don't waste your efforts on a response as this site will have been long gone by the time you would take to do so.

dustyrhooades,Never said I like them now,just have learned to live with it,swimming against the current just tires one out,but to clarify what you have brought up,no I still feel the same and will if I live another 65 years,they don't care alot for me either so I feel no real sense of guilt,you keep your opinions as you so graciously condemn mine,I owe you or no one else anything other that honesty,something many have not the ability to convey,only behind closed doors,and I'm sure you are not as unbias as you proclaim,I sleep well at night,can you say the same living in a lie,you scream on this site as if you were someone that matters,well to some, just not me,people like you amaze me do you really believe anyone of the ethnic groups I mentioned feel any differently toward people like myself than I do of them,they carry the same amount of distrust as myself and many others do and it is directed at us evrytime they hold a rally or make demands of our government,don't let your shaddow darken my doorway again on this subject as it is closed to any more of your mindless dribble.
