A car struck a utility pole on U.S. 1 in Aberdeen about 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Aberdeen police said the female driver was headed south in the right lane when another vehicle apparently swerved into her lane, causing her to slam on her brakes. Her car ran up the curb, blew a tire and hit the pole.
Police said no one was hurt and no charges will be filed.
