Delays Expected on 211 Near Traffic Circle, Mortorists Ask to Avoid Area

The Pinehurst Police are advising motorists are advised to avoid N.C. 211 between Rattlesnake Trail and the traffic circle due to traffic congestion and lane closures.

The road construction in the area of NC 211 between Rattlesnake Trail and the Traffic Circle will cause significant traffic backups and other issues.

Drivers can use Hwy 5 to Morganton Road OR Murdocksville Road to Juniper lake Road then onto US 15/501

Motorists are asked to be aware of workers in the road and heavy machinery on the roadway.

Preventative measures. Road work will be going on overnight, and lanes will be closed. They are reminding people now so hopefully they will make alternative route plans if necessary.

Bad timing. With the Carolina Rebellion this Saturday in Rockingham, a lot of people are staying in Moore County. Might block up traffic all around.
