The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Reports
April 23: Male, 56, reported the removal of a wood stove and refrigerator from a home on N.C. 73 in Jackson Springs; Female, 35, reported the theft of three boxer puppies from her home on East Chriscoe Road, Seagrove.
April 25: Male, 40, reported the theft of a lawn mower from a home on Murdocksville Road, Carthage; Employee of STARS school, Southern Dunes Drive, Vass, reported someone took a school credit card and used it without permission; Male, 51, reported someone fired a gun at a chicken coop on T. Johnson Road, Carthage; Male, 47, reported that someone entered an out building on McIntosh Road, Carthage, and removed a bolt-action, single-shot rifle.
April 26: female, 71, reported the theft of two cars and a tractor from a home on Joel Road, Carthage; Female, 65, reported someone refused to return her dog; Female, 21, reported the theft of a handgun from a home on Cook Road, Carthage.
April 27: Male, 45, reported someone broke a headlight and a windshield on a 1982 Ford parked at a storage facility in Vass.
April 28: Male, 26, reported someone broke a taillight and scratched the paint on a 1999 Ford at a home on Forest Drive, Aberdeen; Male, 63, reported someone removed a propane tank from a home on Lobelia Road, Vass.
April 29: Male, 35, reported the theft of a handgun from a 2004 Chevy parked at a home on N.C. 211 in Aberdeen.
