Boone Woman Faces Fraud Charges

A Boone woman faces fraud charges after she allegedly used personal information from her father in Moore County to obtain services and money through the N.C. Employment Security Commission without his authorization.
On April 25 Moore County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Sarina Renee McDow, 29, of the 200 block of E. King Street, Boone, and charged her with identity theft, financial card theft and obtaining property by false pretense. She was placed in the Moore County jail on a $15,000 secured bond. Her first court appearanc is set for May 10 in Moore County District Court.
The arrest stems from an investigation into an alleged fraud reported on March 29 by Marshall McDow, the subject father. He is a resident of Hoke County.

OK good. I can sleep better at night now that this woman is off the streets. I mean if you can't arrest the gangstas shooting up our convenience store employees then this is the next best thing.
