Two Face Felony Charges in Break-in

Two Robbins men are facing charges in connection with a reported break-in that happened on March 21, the Moore County Sheriff's said.

Investigators arrested Richard Richard Matthew Pope, 21, of the 100 block of Elizabeth Lane, and charged him with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession stolen property.

Investigators also arrested Marco Antonio Lopez, 19, of the 200 block of Hemp Street, and charged him with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession stolen property. Both men were placed in the Moore County jail under a $25,000 secured bond. Their first appearance is scheduled for March 29 in district court.

The arrests result from an investigation into a break-in reported by Winfred Dean Bowman, who lives in Robbins. Bowman reported that entry was gained into his home through the its backdoor.

He reported some of his prescription medication was stolen along with a safe.
