The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Reports

March 5: Female, 35, reported the theft of a cellphone from FirstHealth Fitness Center, 170 Memorial Drive.

March 6: Female, 32, reported someone kicked open a door at a home in Pinehurst Manor.

March 7: Female, 71, reported a large truck damaged the shrubbery in the yard of her home on Linden Road.

March 8: Female, 63, reported someone broke into a car parked on Aviemore Court and removed clothing items.

March 9: An employee of the Pinehurst Resort Member’s Club reported receiving a fraudulent check; an employee of Dugan’s Pub, 3 Market Square, reported finding a bag and cellphone.

March 11: Female, 51, reported damage to a fire hydrant on York Place.
