Sandhills Community College has a program that makes it easy to take high-quality, non-credit online courses.

"We have partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of online, instructor-led courses, and we are pleased to announce the launch of Creating Classroom Centers," says a spokesman.

Participants in this course will learn how to create engaging, easy-to-maintain classroom center activities, boosting independent learning while increasing small-group instruction time.

"You will not only gain the knowledge you need to get the most out of centers," says the spokesman. "You will receive a wealth of resources and center ideas to try in your own classroom."

This course is part of Sandhills Community College's growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction and interaction with fellow students, you will gain valuable knowledge at your convenience.

Ed2go offers the flexibility to study at your own pace with enough structure and support to complete the course with the added convenience of 24/7 accessibility to the classroom from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. The courses are Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course, pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback and facilitating discussions.

There are many other relevant courses approved for educators. To learn more about these and other professional development offerings, call Vanessa Galloway at (910) 695-3939 or visit www.ed2go. com/sandhills or www.sandhills.edu/coned.

"Remember, for all of our occupational courses, those 65 and older may take one class per semester at no tuition cost," says a spokesman. (This excludes any fees or materials associated with the course.)
