The Prancing Horse annual Barn Dance proved to be a terrific success, according to Judy Lewis, executive director of the nonprofit organization.

McLendon Hills Equestrian Center provided a perfect setting for the evening's events.

Upon arrival, guests were treated to a formation ride performed by six students from Prancing Horse.

Guests then moved into the barn, which was decorated with soft lights, linen-clad tables -and the occasional horse in a stall. A dinner of fine Italian food was enjoyed by humans as the horses dined on oats and hay.

Following the dinner, guests crowded the dance floor as the DJ King Curtiss fired up his music.

The sold-out event not only entertained the ticket holders, but also provided funds for the students of Prancing Horse Therapeutic Riding Center.

"As Prancing Horse works to provide this service, we thank the patrons who support us by attending our functions," says Lewis.
