The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.
Reports
July 25: Female, 23, reported she was punched in the face during an incident at a home in the 100 block of Waynor Road; Female, 33, reported someone slashed tires on a 1999 Jeep parked in the 1200 block of West Iowa Avenue; Male, 59, reported the theft of a 2005 Dodge parked in the 1600 block of U.S. 1 South; Female, 38, reported the unauthorized use of a credit card at a restaurant in the 10900 block of U.S. 15-501; Female, 42, reported a male, 51, as missing from the 100 block of Pinehurst Avenue; Male, 46, reported someone broke into a home in the 300 block of South Hardin Street and removed a generator and an air compressor hose; Male, 46, reported someone removed a registration sticker from a 2007 Dodge parked in the 1600 block of Central Drive; Male, 29, reported that his 1985 Chevy Caprice was stolen on South Henley Street; Male, 57, reported that his home on South Gaines Street was broken into and his property stolen.
July 26: Female, 46, reported she was assaulted by a burglar in her home on Murray Hill Road; Male, 27, reported someone broke into his 2002 Sebring in a parking lot on Tanglewood Drive; Male, 33, reported his property was stolen from his apartment on North May Street; A breaking and entering, vandalism and larceny were reported at the City Pawn Shop on Morganton Road.
July 28: Male, 21, reported he was choked and robbed on Murray Hill Road; Female, 34, reported her Central Drive apartment was broken into and her property stolen; Female, 38, reported a larceny from her house on Stoneyfield Drive; Male reported a burglary at Knollwood Golf Club; Female, 24, reported she was assaulted with intent to perform sexual acts in a parking lot on Broad Street.
July 29: Male, 60, reported vandalism at Raffaele’s restaurant on U.S. 1; Male, 31, reported a larceny from his apartment on Brucewood Road; Female, 18, reported she was verbally threatened on Richards Street.
