Has the heat gotten to you? What about the political ads? If you need a good laugh, humorist James Gregory can give you one.
With his shirt tale stuck out and his sleeves rolled up, James Gregory, The "Funniest Man in America" is coming to Troy on Thursday, Aug. 2. Show time is 7 p.m. at the First Bank James Garner Center.
"Last year's crowd didn't stop laughing," says organizer Jeff Branch. "James tells it like he sees it in a down home way. He's not vulgar. He's plain and simple and absolutely hilarious! I'm delighted to be able to bring him to Troy."
Gregory started his career with Jeff Foxworthy. Now, he shares laughs on radio shows like "John Boy and Billy," "Rick and Bubba" and "Bob and Tom."
Gregory has appeared with Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, The Judds, George Jones and Ricky Skaggs. Tickets are $30 for reserved seating and $25 for general admission.
The First Bank James Garner Center is located at 221 Burnett Street in Troy.
