The seventh annual U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championship (ages 13-18) is taking place Thursday through Saturday with nearly 525 players from 40 countries.
There are three age divisions for both the girls and the boys. The boys 15-18 compete on Pinehurst No. 4 for rounds one and three. Round two for the division takes place on Pinehurst No. 2. The boys 14 division plays all three rounds on Pinehurst No. 8, while the boys 13 division will play all three rounds on Pinehurst No. 6.
All three girls’ divisions (15-18, 14, 13) play all rounds at Pine Needles.
Play starts at 7 a.m. each morning.
The Teen World Cup takes center stage on Sunday, starting at 7:30 a.m.
The event is an opportunity for boys and girls in each age group to play in a Ryder Cup-style match play competition. The top four boys and top two girls from the United States face off against the top four boys and the top two girls from the rest of the world.
The competition is taking place on the famed Pinehurst No. 2.
