The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Reports

July 17: An employee of Pinehurst Resort reported damage to golf course greens at Pinehurst No. 4 and restrooms and the larceny of a flag stick; Male, 33, reported the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that was taken from the 100 block of Torrey Pines Lane.

July 19: An employee of Theo’s Taverna, 140 Chinquapin Road, reported the larceny of a commercial dishwasher from the business; Female, 28, reported someone took money from a debit card account; Female, 61, reported that an unknown person charged merchandise to victim’s credit card.

July 20: An employee of Pinehurst Family Care reported someone removed a check from a mailbox at the business.

July 22: Female, 63, reported someone took a piggy bank and money from a home in the 100 block of Lakewood Drive.
