The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Reports
July 4: Female, 43, of Dalrymple Road, Cameron, reported someone used a credit card without permission to purchase items online; Male, 73, reported someone broke into a home on Page Store Road, Cameron, and removed assorted jewelry.
July 5: Male, 52, reported someone broke into an old chicken house on Glendon Carthage Road and removed various auto parts.
July 6: Male, 57, reported damage, possibly from a storm, to a door at a home on Kyloe Road, Southern Pines; An employee of Mercy Groceries, Carthage, reported the theft of gasoline from the business; Female, 43, reported the theft of an above-ground swimming pool from a home on Walker Street, West End; An employee of Roadhouse 73, N.C. 73, West End, reported the theft of menus and paperwork from the restaurant. The items were returned; Female, 41, reported the theft of a cellphone from a home on Gaines Street, Aberdeen; Female, 40, reported the theft of a metal gate, hang flower planters and a mirror from a home on Gaston Way, West End. The property was returned; Female, 28, reported someone broke into a home on Atkins Road, Vass, and removed a video game console and a television.
July 7: Male, 37, reported the theft of a scooter from a yard of a home on Kennedy Circle, Aberdeen; Male, 38, reported someone kicked in a door of a home on McPherson Road, Vass, and removed a laptop computer and a television; Female, 21, reported a known person entered a barn on Bluebird Lane and removed assorted car parts, a car CD disc changer and two duffel bags with assorted supplies.
July 8: Male, 69, reported damage to a drain pile at a home on Boone Drive, Eagle Springs; Male, 58, reported someone broke into a home on Fairfield Lane, Eagle Springs, and removed a box of trash bags and cash; Male, 43, reported someone broke into a home on Maple Lane, Carthage.
July 9: An employee of S.T. Wooten, Wilson, reported someone shot out the glass door of a construction vehicle on N.C. 211, West End; Male, 59, reported the theft of four patio chairs from a home on Firetree Lane, West End.
July 10: Male, 72, reported damage to a vehicle after it drove over a mailbox on Boggs Road, West End; Male, 58, reported the theft of a car transmission from a home on Wilkes Road, Seagrove; Male, 53, reported the the theft of an air conditioning unit from a home on Heritage Farm Road, Carthage; Female, 40, reported a known person attempted to set fire to the porch of a home on Sarges Drive, Carthage; Female, 22, reported someone entered a home on Roseland Road, Aberdeen, and removed video games; Male, 35, reported the theft of a four-wheeler from a home on Baker Road, Vass.
July 11: Female, 39, reported someone entered a home on Maple Lane, Sanford, and removed a microwave oven and a window air conditioning unit; Male, 31, reported someone broke into a home on Arnette Street, Pinehurst, and removed a computer; Female, 30, reported the unauthorized use of a credit card; Male, 35, reported someone broke into a home on Charlie Lane, Carthage, and removed cash; Male, 45, reported the theft of two Great Pyrenees dogs from a home on Manor Road, Carthage.
July 12: An employee of Seven Lakes Friendly Mart, N.C. 211, West End, reported the theft of gas from the business; Female, 17, of Carthage, reported receiving numerous unwanted phone calls; Male, 61, reported the theft of a motorized dirt bike from a home on N.C. 705, Robbins.
July 13: Female, 65, reported the theft of jewelry from a home on Castleberry Court, Vass.
July 14: Female, 46, reported someone broke into a home on Hancock Road, Seagrove, and removed a push lawn mowerand assortedtools; A postal service employee reported damage to a mailbox and phone books at the mail facility at Devonshire Road East, West End.
July 15: Male, 38, reported broken glass at a door of a home on Ring Road, Carthage; Female, 71, reported someone broke into a home on Heritage Farm Road, Carthage, and removed two televisions, jewelry, a computer, a video game console and games, and assorted hats and shoes; Female, 41, reported the theft of an engine stand from the yard of a home on Bozwin Lane, Carthage.
July 16: Female, 43, reported the theft of a trailer from a parking lot on East Indiana Avenue in Aberdeen; Female, 33, reported someone entered a home on Sarah Road, Robbins, and damaged property; An employee of FirstHealth of the Carolinas reported the theft of a company computer from a vehicle parked at a home on Jody Road, Carthage; Female, 39, reported someone used a credit card without the victim’s permission; An employee of Blackwelder Tank Services, Stanton Hill Road, Carthage, reported the theft of batteries from company vehicles.
July 17: Male, 23, reported the theft of a 2000 Nissan from Seven Lakes Body Shop, Village View Drive, West End.
July 18: Male, 51, reported the theft of an oil drum, metal table, metal outdoor fire pit and assorted tools from a home on Lindsay Lane, Eagle Springs; Female, 20, reported the theft of a wallet from a vehicle parked at a home on Addor Road; An employee of Lambert Auto Sales, N.C. 705 Robbins, reported someone signed a check belong to someone else and received payment for it; Male, 45, reported the removal of a motorcycle from a home on U.S. 15-501. The item was recovered; Male, 62, reported the theft of a recreation vehicle from a yard of a home on Glenwood Trail, Southern Pines.
July 19: An employee of S.T. Wooten, Wilson, reported that someone shot out a window of bulldozer at a construction site on N.C. 211 near Juniper Lake Road.
