The Southern Pines police are seeking a person of interest in connection with a break-in of a motor vehicle that occurred at the Kangaroo gas station at 10805 U.S. 15-501.

The incident happened at approximately 2:43 a.m. on June 27.

The suspect appeared to be the passenger in a four door dark green Chevrolet Blazer or Oldsmobile Bravada that was parked at the Kangaroo gas station, police said.

This person of interest may have been the driver of the vehicle mentioned abov, police said.
