Liberty Tax Service will be grilling free hot dogs and raising donations for the Animal Advocates of Moore County this Saturday.

The Liberty Tax office at 1680 N.C. 5 in the Food Lion Plaza will donate a portion of the day's receipts to the nonprofit organization.

Animal Advocates of Moore County (AAMC) is a proactive, progressive nonprofit animal organization and has the distinction of owning one of only two feral cat sanctuaries in the United States.

AAMC believes it is important to spay/neuter every animal and does not want the cost to be a deterrent to this critical service. It offers financial assistance with the cost of spay/neuter.

Camelia and Mark Adel, who operate the Aberdeen Liberty Tax office, own five rescue animals and say they are pleased to donate proceeds from tax returns prepared Saturday to the AAMC.

"We invite you to come in and be a part of supporting this wonderful organization," they said.

Liberty Tax Service is the fastest-growing retail tax preparation company in the industry's history. Founded in 1997 by CEO John T. Hewitt, a pioneer in the tax industry, Liberty Tax Service (www.libertytax.com) has prepared more than 9,000,000 individual income tax returns, according to a news release.
