The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lee and Martha McNeill, of Glendon, Marie Stutts, of Carthage, and the late Roy E. Stutts, and Opal Barton, of Vass.

The groom-elect is the son of Charles and Pam Hammond, of Rockingham, and the grandson of the late Charles and Lucy Hammond, of Rockingham, and Elbert and Pat Gower, of Kenly.

A Saturday, April 7, 2012, wedding is planned at St. Martin's Farm in Vass.
