Notebook: Linda Bell Gets Hole-in-One
Hole-in-One: Linda Bell, a member at Pinewild, scored her ace Jan. 12, on the 17th hole of the Holly Course. Linda used her 9-iron to cover the 85 yards to the green. Her witnesses were Ann Amspoker, Bobbi Erdman and BF Fulcher. Linda reported that just an ordinary day of golf turned into a joyful celebration.
Pinewild: The Men’s Golf Association played in foursomes and the game was two best balls on yellow and white flag holes, and three best balls on red flag holes. Competition was on the Holly Course.
