Moore County Sheriff's investigators have arrested an Aberdeen woman and charged her with possession of a stolen firearm.

On Jan. 11, officers arrested Anetra Sheree Taylor, 29, of the 200 block of Fellowship Way. She was placed in the Moore County jail under a $15,000 secured bond. Her first appearance in Moore County district court is set for Jan. 25.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation into a report on Aug. 19, 2011, of a larceny of a firearm by Charles Edward Smith, who lives in the Aberdeen area of Moore County.
