North Moore split a pair of Yadkin Valley Conference wrestling matches at West Montgomery Wednesday.

The Mustangs fell behind West Montgomery 30-12 before taking five out of the next six bouts on the way to a 42-36 win. In a match with South Stanly, North Moore once again fell behind, this time by 27 points, before rallying to get within three points of the Rebel Bulls.

But South Stanly took the last two matches to claim a 48-33 win over the Mustangs.

North Moore is now 2-3 in the Yadkin Valley and 5-12 overall.
