The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Reports

Dec. 26: Female, 37, reported that a former boyfriend entered a home in the 1400 block of Longleaf Drive East and removed a computer monitor.

Dec. 27: Female, 77, reported that someone damaged a mailbox and pine trees at a home on Inverrary Road.

Dec. 29: Female, reported that someone ran over a tree stump in the median crossing near the Ironwood Cafe, 2176 Midland Road.

Dec. 31: Female, 77, reported damage to a tree near a home on Inverrary Road.

Jan. 1: An employee of the Village Parks and Recreation Department reported a broken glass wall at the hockey rink at Rassie Wicker Park.

Jan. 2: An employee of Getinge USA, Rochester, New York, reported the theft of a tool box and tools from a truck parked in the 100 block of Memorial Drive.

Jan. 3: Male, 32, reported the theft of an iPad with leather case from the waiting area of the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, 155 Memorial Drive.

Jan. 4: Female, 68, of Pomeroy Drive, reported someone attempted to use the victim’s identity to obtain a credit card and make a purchase.

Jan. 5: Female, 65, reported someone attempted to steal the victim’s identity in an effort to take money from bank account.

Jan. 6: Female, 35, reported that another subject backed a car into the victim’s vehicle during an incident in the 100 block of Racquet Lane; Male, 55, reported someone struck the victim’s vehicle with another car during an incident in a parking lot on Carolina Vista.
