Grabowski-Bailes Wedding

Rebecca Marie Bailes, of Pinehurst, and Richard Alexander Grabowski, of West End, were married on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at 11 a.m., in Carthage. Charlie Smoke officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of James and Lesa Bailes, of Pinehurst, and the granddaughter of James and Ellen Bailes and Gloria Markham, all of Nettie, W.Va.

The groom is the son of Richard and Donis Grabowski, of West End, and the grandson of Philip Starr, of Goshen, Conn., Flousina Dacosta, of Berlin, Conn., and Mrs. Stanley Tercyak, of North Branford, Conn. The groom is serving in the U.S. Army.

The bride was escorted by her father, James Michael Bailes.

Tonya Bailes, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.

Richard Grabowski, father of the groom, was the best man.

The couple will reside at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
