The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.
Arrests
Feb. 13: Damon Mitchell Harris, 20, of West End, true bill of indictment.
Feb. 15: Vincent Michael Garzo, 18, of Vass, impersonation of a law enforcement officer; Reshaud Wright, 17, of Southern Pines, impersonation of a law enforcement officer.
Feb. 17: Jordan Floyd Locklear, 23, of Pembroke, shoplifting; O.D. Roger Spencer Jr., 53, of Southern Pines, obtaining property by false pretenses and possessing stolen goods.
Feb. 19: Charlie Ernesto Whitaker, 20, of Carthage, purchase/possess alcohol by anyone under 21 years; Anthony Cequan Person, 20, of Carthage, purchase/possess alcohol by anyone under 21 years.
Reports
Feb. 7: Female, 35, reported she was assaulted during an incident 400 block of Shaw Avenue; Male, 34, reported another assaulted him with a knife during an incident in the 400 block of Shaw Avenue.
Feb. 8: Male, 44, reported the theft of power tools, a peg board, shelving brackets, outdoor lights, a rake and a shovel from a yard in a home in the 400 block of North Bennett Street; Officers investigated a report of a small child being left unattended in a motor vehicle.
Feb. 13: An employee of the Sandhills Children’s Center, 1280 Central Drive, reported someone broke into the building; Male, 20, reported someone broke into a home in the 100 block Boiling Way.
Feb. 14: Female juvenile reported the theft of a purse, cellphone and other identification cards from Golden Corral, U.S. 15-501; Male, 70, reported someone pried open a door to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1517 Luther Way.
Feb. 15: An employee of Days Inn, 805 SW Service Road, reported someone passed a bad check at the business; An individual reported being punched in the face during an incident in a parking lot in the 10700 block of U.S. 15-501.
Feb. 16: Female, 22, reported someone damaged window blinds and a wall light plate at a home in the 100 block of Coats Street; Female, 73, reported someone broke into a home in the 200 block of West Rhode Island and removed computer equipment.
Feb. 17: An employee of Belk, 10205 U.S. 15-501, reported someone wrote on a outer store wall with a black marker.
Feb. 19: An employee of Kangaroo, 10805 U.S. 15-501, reported someone removed two 12-packs of beers from the store.
