The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Reports
Feb. 6: Male, 25, reported damage to a door of a home on Fairway Avenue, Southern Pines; Female, 40, reported the theft of jewelry from a home on Richfield Court, Vass; Male, 52, reported the theft of scrap metal from open land on Niagara-Carthage Road.
Feb. 7: Male, 54, reported the theft of a welder and three rolls of wire from a shed on Red Hill Road, Cameron; Female, 30, reported someone entered her home on Borden Road without permission.
Feb. 8: An employee of T.H. Blue bark plant, Flowers Road, Eagle Springs, reported the theft of four vehicle batteries from a tractor on company property; Male, 59, reported someone illegally dumped tree debris on the driveway of his home on Linden Road, Pinehurst.
Feb. 10: Male, 28, reported the theft of a chain saw from a home on Lake Bay Road, Vass. The chain saw was later reported found; Male, 29, reported someone was using his credit/debit card without permission;
Male, 21, reported someone slashed the tires and broke into a 1993 Mazda parked at a home on Stanton Hill Road, Cameron; Male, 25, of Plank Road, Carthage, reported another was using personal information without permission.
Feb. 11: An employee of J.B. Short, Carpet One, U.S. 1 North, Southern Pines, reported someone cut three locks on storage buildings at the business.
Feb. 12: Female, 86, reported damage to a mailbox at a home on Hemp Street Extension, Robbins.
Feb. 13: Male, 63, reported another attempted to obtain money through fraud.
