Carthage Man Faces Littering Charge

A Carthage faces a littering charge in connection with a report of numerous tires being dumped on property off Aiken Road in Vass.
Moore County Sheriff's investigators on Feb. 8 arrested Ken Sullivan Turney, 35, of the 200 block of Doe Lane and charged him with littering over 500 lbs. He was placed in the Moore County jail under a $1,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is set for Feb. 16 in Moore County District Court.
