There is just one more to go for the Pinecrest Patriots wrestling team in its goal to capture a state 4-A dual championship.

The Patriots defeated Jack Britt 31-30 in the regional finals at Cary High School Thursday to earn a berth in Saturday's finals. They will face Parkland High School in Winston-Salem at 5 p.m.

The Patriots are now 32-1 on the year, while Parkland is 49-0. Parkland has won five state titles in a row, three on the 3-A level and then the last two 4-A dual championships.

Pinecrest eliminated New Bern 34-32 in Thursday's sectional final, also held at Cary.

Britt reached the regional finals by knocking off Cary 29-24.
