Three teens face charges in connection with a vehicle break-in near Vass after authorities tracked the use of credit cards stolen in the incident.

On Feb. 7, Moore County Sheriff's investigators arrested Reshaud Wright, 17, of the 200 block of W. Vermont Avenue, Miguel Lamar, 18, of the 100 block of Cardinal Court, Vass, and Donavon Noel Garcia, 18, of the 200 block of Howle Road, West End. Each teen was charged with felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, felony financial card theft, and felony possession of stolen goods.

The suspects were identified with help from the Southern Pines Police.

The arrests stemmed from an investigation of a Jan. 30 report of a vehicle breaking and entering and larceny in Woodlake.

The teens were admitted to the Moore County jail under a $10,000 secured bond with a first court appearance set for Feb. 16 in Moore County District Court.

Hey, look at the Wright kids eyebrows. They have hash marks. Isn't that a "Gang" thing? Doesn’t N.C. have a gang enhancement statute that says that 3 or more people with a common identifier who commit a crime get additional time during their sentencing? How exactly were these boys dressed? Did they have any "Gang" colors on them?

I read a similar article on the WRAL website recently that occurred in the Raleigh area. Two kids entering 15 parked cars, none of which were locked, and took GPS units, cell phones, ipods, etc. Their bond was $425,000 per kid. I thought the bond was extreme, but why is the bond so low for these three?

For one: None of you know these people personally. I do know them and NO they are not in a gang. Stop commenting with things you dont even know about. No, his eyebrows have nothing to do with gangs. These are good people who made a mistake. I love them all to death. And NO I am not an ignorant child whos smitten with one of them. I am someone who KNOWS them and who they are. They are people who have good hearts. I love Miguel Donavon and Reshaud regardless of the mistake they made. So you snooty rich people, or whoever you are judging them can stop. If I could express how angry these comments made me, I would. But that would include some profane language. Leave them alone. They are serving their time. So shut up. You dont know what the people like me and the others that love them are going through. So stop making this harder on us.

No one here knows what the fuck they are talking about. Do you know them? No. The marks in Reshaud's eyebrows have nothing to do with a fucking gang and none of these guys have ever had any part in a gang. So how about you check your facts before spitting out those false allegations. Donavon, Miguel and Reshaud are great people who are loved and cared about by many many people including me. Just because they happened to make some bad decisions doesn't mean they are gang members or horrible people. I love all three of them so much and miss them with everyday that passes. To all who love them, you have no idea the pain we are going through. So take your insensitive asses somewhere else.

roseforever, With your delicatley written comment and your ability to exspress yourself in a manner that would impress anyone with your artfull and distinguised use of the English language I would just ask that you not hide your emotions like you are trying to do,let it out they look like some fine young men who probably thought they wrer getting into their own car,yes thats it just a mistaken vehicle entry,we all have made that mistake,I'll bet they were on the way to your trailer to pick you up,so sad.

Ok, HI! My name is Josh. I've been hanging with these 3 and 2 others for the past month just about everyday. Let me give all you non-thinking, judgmental, "people" a look from the inside. All three of these kids have NO home to go to. They've all been abandoned by their parents. We've been evicted from several apartments for various reasons because we're kids. We like to have fun, and party. Jobs are hard to come by these days. I'm the only one of the 6 with a job. People won't hire you for your look sometimes or various reasons, and when you're left with no home to go to, and you can't get a job, and you're sleeping in hotel to hotel every night cause life just hands you a grocery bag full of shit; you're going to resort to drastic measures. I love these guys with all my heart. They are my family. I'm working EXTREMELY hard to find $500 to bail each one out. Cause I'm a good friend. I already have one out, the so called "Gang member" because he likes the style of his eyebrows. Stop judging for no reason. I'm sure you're not the embodiment of perfection yourself so who are you to judge? I WILL be bailing the other 2 out and the one that is not on this page within the end of this week, count on it. Just remember that karma comes back to people, so while you're sitting here judging them, someone else is out there judging you. White you talk lowly to people who haven't had the greatest of opportunities, you better watch out cause you may find karma in your car taking your valuables. Or you may find yourself job and homeless and have to resort to desperate actions. Think before you speak. These are human beings, not dogs. I see none of you taking responsibility for them and trying to help, you're just making it worse by making them feel as if the entire worlds rejecting them. Come down off your high horses and try living like someone who's parent's kicked you out and no one hires you and you can't even go back to school or get into college because of the way you look, act, dress, or your reputation. If no one else, these boys have me to put respect and love and faith in because I'm working day and night thinking of people to call, things to pawn off, anything I can do to get the most hilarious friends I've had in all my 18 years. And no matter what we have to do, we're getting them from the system and bringing them back to this county to not change anything because everyone in this group is perfect how they are and I wouldn't change any of it for anything you could imagine.

And btw, I just read that comment about delivering pizza, and it's funny cause as I said, I'm the only one with a job, and I work at domino's. I don't appreciate any of the hate on here, but just saying that was pretty coincidental. And if you thought about what you said, you'd know that pizza places don't stay open 24/7, and they obviously didn't break into these cars in broad day light. It must have been around 3 or 4 am. Only reason I'm not in an orange jumpsuit right now is cause I was too high to leave the sanctity of the bed. Now go on and judge me as another delinquent like them because I smoke marijuana. But that's defiantly my problem, not yours.

JoshfromMooreCounty, After reading your speech that was heart moving and so eloquently stated it brought out the real problem of our society that being we are so quick to judge people that break into our vehicles and try to steal our property without wondering why,in the future we might just try putting our money in a bowl on the front porch to make it more accessible so they would not risk the chance of getting invoved in a BandE charge, you really need to cut back on that weed it's effecting your ability to be able to get up and join in the fun these people were having, quit that job too it also has interfered with your criminal passions, but as far as you working at domino's that new crust has far to much garlic in it for me now Valenti's has some real Italian pizza if you get those munchies from that weed, you keep sleeping with those dogs and you will keep getting fleas.

" These are good people who made a mistake"

To be completely accurate, they made THREE mistakes, not A mistake.

Broke into a car, stole property 9credit cards) and then later used the stolen credit cards

JoshfromMooreCounty, here's some people that can help you and your friends, just go to:

2639 South Horner Blvd in Sanford.

They will provide you a place to sleep and three hot meals a day. They can even give you some job training so you won't have to deliver pizzas for the rest of your life.

JoshfromMooreCounty, After reading your post I got to thinking,if you have such a dislike for all those that have prospered more than you then it's hard to tell what you might do to one of those pizza's you deliver, all kidding aside if you do work for Domino's I hope someone from that business picks up on your post because you are one troubled individual who seems to have a grudge for society,I could care less about your smoking weed it's your obvious dislike for those that can afford to have pizza delivered, get some counseling.

oh wow. i know them. and im not too surprised actually. and JoshfromMooreCounty, yes you have some points but heres the actual main point. these three kids could have chosen a better life. and you know thats the underlying truth. no one told them to do this despite the economical status of today. yes i know its terrible and jobs are scarce but i believe they deserve this. also weed and partying will only ruin you. im not saying this because i am "stuck up and rich" i am saying this because its the truth.

perhaps you children need to grow up. and i say this about every criminal committing petty crimes such as this.

For those that are writing this off as their being underpriviledged will only encourage others to take the same path, these boys need to be dealt with now,I'm sure this is the first time they have been caught but not the first time the have stolen from someone, many people in this area grew up on the poorer side of life and never robbed, they worked in tobbaco,or on the farms,if we let them off whats the sense in even calling the LEO's who spend time and effort catching them,I'll bet had they not been caught they would have been out the next night doing the same thing, this poor little boys thing just does not cut it.

0

rmb93 1 year, 3 months ago

i couldnt agree more with the above comments. sadly there will be not enough action taken with these criminals. who rightfully deserve what they had coming. life certainly is about falling down and standing up with insight on how to not fall again. yet im afraid there is no hope for them. they will continue doing what they are doing and that saddens me the most.

While I am sorry these 3 young men have had a hard life it does not justify what they did. And the fact that their parents kicked them out tells me there were problems long before this incident. Unfortunately in society today there are way too many parents who don't have time to raise their children properly - and these 3 young men might very well be victims of this problem. But to suggest they get a pass because they have lived a hard life, been kicked out by their parents, have no jobs, etc. is not acceptable to me. Most of us work hard for the things we have and for someone else to come along and just take it from us is unacceptable also. I hope these young men get the help they need - but they did commit a crime and will have to pay for that crime. And having a record will only make it more difficult for them to find jobs, etc. Sometimes the easy way out isn't the best way - just wish they had thought of the consequences before they acted.
