The following criminal judgments have been rendered in Moore County District Court.

Jan. 25, 2012

Jesse R. Akin, misdemeanor consume alcohol by someone under 19, 30 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation, 24 hours community service within two months and remit fee, comply with treatment order and searches/tests, pay court costs.

Carmel K. Blue, driving while impaired, three months in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation, 48 hours community service within four months and fee, comply with treatment order, surrender license, eligible for limited driving privileges-interlock, $400 fine, court costs and upon compliance transfer to unsupervised probation.

Ellyn S. Davis, misdemeanor larceny, 45 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation, 24 hours community service within three months and remit fee, serve 48 hours in jail through probation and remit jail fee, do not go on premises of Walmart, attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee and court costs.

Timothy D. Duros, misdemeanor simple assault, two months in jail to run at the expiration of sentence now serving, $205 court costs, $20 installment plan fee and case appeale.

Charles A. Hannel III, fail to wear seat belt-driver, $25.50 fine and court costs.

Jonathan L. Hasty, improper equipment, $100 fine and court costs.

Christopher D. Herrick, driving while impaired, two months in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, serve 48 hours in jail and remit fee, comply with treatment order, surrender license, pay $250 fine, court costs and case appealed.

Thadeus M. Hickman, improper equipment, $100 fine and court costs.

Lisa H. Ray, a/k/a Davis, misdemeanor possess drug paraphernalia, 87 days in jail, credit for time served, $180 court costs, $20 installment plan fee and $870 jail fee; felony possession schedule II controlled substances, voluntary dismissal.

John T. Singer Jr. misdemeanor worthless check on closed account, $70.20 restitution to Food Lion and court costs.

Ryan Steagall, misdemeanor shoplifting by concealment of goods, 20 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, serve five days in jail immediately, do not go on property of Belk of Pinecrest Plaza in Southern Pines and transfer probation to Richmond County.

Thomas K. Steed, driving while license revoked, 45 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, clear all indefinite suspensions on license, $100 fine, court costs and upon compliance of three months transfer to unsupervised probation.

Matthew T. Stephens, careless and reckless driving, $300 fine, court costs and do not operate a motor vehicle for 30 days.

Richard D. Streater, driving while license revoked, 120 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, do not operate a motor vehicle until properly licensed, attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee, $300 fine and courts with six months to pay.

Christopher J. Thellman, driving while impaired, 12 months in prison, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, serve seven days in jail through probation and remit jail fee, enroll in the Bethesda House program and successfully complete program, pay attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee, $500 fine, court costs and upon compliance transfer to unsupervised probation.

Maria A. Zarco, a/k/a Reyes-Zarco, driving while impaired, 60 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours community service within 60 days and remit fee, comply with prior treatment order, surrender license, $200 fine, court costs and upon compliance transfer to unsupervised probation.

James M. Hildreth, misdemeanor simple worthless check, paid $35.95 restitution to Champion Car Wash and court costs.

Jeffrey J. Kahn, misdemeanor communicating threats consolidated with misdemeanor harassing phone call, 17 days in jail, credit for time served, $180 court costs, $20 installment plan fee and $170 jail fees.

Holly A. Morgan, misdemeanor larceny, felony possess with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony maintain vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substances, felony possess with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony possess with intent to manufacture and sell and deliver schedule I controlled substances, voluntary dismissal.

Sedarius L. Quick, misdemeanor larceny, 45 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation, 24 hours community service within three months and remit fee, pay $105 restitution, $190 court costs, $20 installment plan fee and upon compliance transfer to unsupervised probation.
