The following criminal judgments have been rendered in Moore County District Court.

Jan. 25, 2012

Jesse R. Akin, misdemeanor consume alcohol by someone under 19, 30 days in jail, suspended, 12 months supervised probation, 24 hours community service within two months and remit fee, comply with treatment order and searches/tests, pay court costs.

Christopher D. Herrick, driving while impaired, two months in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, serve 48 hours in jail and remit fee, comply with treatment order, surrender license, pay $250 fine, court costs and case appealed.

Thadeus M. Hickman, improper equipment, $100 fine and court costs.

Ryan Steagall, misdemeanor shoplifting by concealment of goods, 20 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, serve five days in jail immediately, do not go on property of Belk of Pinecrest Plaza in Southern Pines and transfer probation to Richmond County.

Thomas K. Steed, driving while license revoked, 45 days in jail, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, clear all indefinite suspensions on license, $100 fine, court costs and upon compliance of three months transfer to unsupervised probation.

Matthew T. Stephens, careless and reckless driving, $300 fine, court costs and do not operate a motor vehicle for 30 days.

Richard D. Streater, driving while license revoked, 120 days in jail, suspended, 12 months unsupervised probation, do not operate a motor vehicle until properly licensed, attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee, $300 fine and courts with six months to pay.

Christopher J. Thellman, driving while impaired, 12 months in prison, suspended, 18 months supervised probation, serve seven days in jail through probation and remit jail fee, enroll in the Bethesda House program and successfully complete program, pay attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee, $500 fine, court costs and upon compliance transfer to unsupervised probation.

Maria A. Holly A. Morgan, misdemeanor larceny, felony possess with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony maintain vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substances, felony possess with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony possess with intent to manufacture and sell and deliver schedule I controlled substances, voluntary dismissal.
