The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.
Arrests
Jan. 27: Patricia Gail Bateman, 39, Hope Mills, outstanding warrants (worthless checks), driver’s license violation, stop sign or stop lights violation, no motor vehicle insurance, vehicle registration violations, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 4: Christopher James Zinky, 19, of Pinehurst, simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and window tinting violation.
Reports
Jan. 23: An employee of St. Andrews Condos, 10 Pine Tree Road, reported someone broke into a vending unit on a washing machine and removed cash.
Jan. 24: Female, 24, reported someone failed to report an accident that happened at the Traffic Circle; Female, 27, reported someone removed a GPS, sunglasses, a baton and a cellphone charger from a Ford truck parked on Deerwood Lane; Male, 85, reported someone entered a garage of a home on Batusrol Lane and removed a leaf blower; Female, 24, reported someone followed her while she was driving through the village.
Jan. 25: Female, 43, reported she struck a dog in the roadway near N.C. 211 and Rattlesnake Trail.
Jan. 26: Female, 45, reported the theft of a iPod and sunglasses from a 2002 Toyota parked at a home in the 100 block of Juniper Creek Road.
Jan. 28: Female, 32, reported someone attempted to gain access to her 2002 Jeep during an incident at Pinehurst Manor.
Feb. 1: Female, 45, reported damage to her 1998 Saturn in the parking lot of First Health Moore Regional Hospital.
Feb. 3: Female, 62, reported another woman had not returned home from an appointment; Male, 76, requested assistance to have another person leave a home in the 2100 block of Midland Road.
Feb. 4: Female, 65, of the 400 block of Sandhill Court, reported someone used the victim’s identity to make a purchase without consent; Female, 69, reported the theft of jewelry from a home on Beryl Lane.
