Many of The O'Neal School's closest friends and supporters will gather at the Fair Barn in Pinehurst on Saturday, Feb. 4, for the school's 41st Annual Auction, themed "February Fiesta."
The auction consists of a silent auction, raffles and a live auction. The silent auction has 13 different segments, such as home, outdoor, student creations, sports, travel and entertainment, pottery, food and jewelry.
In addition to a $10,000 cash raffle, this year's jewelry raffle is for a diamond ring with an oval .40 ct diamond face and white gold twisted rope band donated by Honeycutt Jewelers.
The live auction has items that include a ski trip to Lake Tahoe, vacation rentals, group dinners at fine restaurants, tickets to sporting events, a wine cellar made up of donations from O'Neal parents, artwork and more.
Greg Quiroga, from San Francisco-based Reynolds and Buckley Fundraising Auctions, will again be the event's auctioneer.
Food stations, catered by Elliott's on Linden, will be located around the Fair Barn and provide tapas-type cuisine to satisfy all palates with a "fiesta" appeal.
An auction catalog is online at www.ONeal School.org. Tickets are still available for the event.
For more information, call Jennie Ford, auction director, at (910) 692-6920 ext. 125, or email her at jford@onealschool.org.
