Language arts teacher Lisa Elliott had her head shaved by hairstylist Nichole Jenkins during an after-school event at Crains Creek Middle School May 3. Elliott promised students she would shave her head if they helped her raise money to participate in the Disney Half Marathon, which raises funds for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Students and the school community held Elliott to her promise and helped her raise more than $4,000. Enlarge

OldPilot, we are not brainwashed by the NRA!! We are brainwashed by the Constitution of the Untied States of America!! We want nothing more of less than what it spells out. How can you not see this? If you feel that strongly, please, get your friends together and start petitions to have a Constitutional Convention in NC. Once done, lobby for an Amendment. I think you will not be successful, but that is most certainly your right.

Ever hear of Fast and Furious? Check it out and you will see why the democrats feel so guilty about the Newtown atrocity. Putting their party before all else really hit them hard this time. The weapon(s) used in Newtown were not nearly as deadly as the obamarifles that have killed hundreds including a border patrol agent. Here's hoping when dusty and the other sheep are unsuccessfully trying to clear their conscious by remembering the Newtown victims, that they don't forget the border patrol agent who they allowed to die in vain. Imagine being killed by an assault rifle provided by the very government paying you to protect them and then having your grieving family treated with disdain as they lie and refuse to answer questions.
