Members of the Pinecrest High School classes of 1970-75 are planning a reunion this summer.

The reunion is set for June 14-15.

"Our immediate focus is to make sure we contact everyone who was a member of the Pinecrest classes of 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975," says a spokesman. "As you might imagine, there are hundreds of names, mailing addresses and email addresses to be gathered. Finding addresses for the women is especially challenging because of their married names.

"Please reach out to your classmates, make them aware of the reunion, and have them send us their mailing and email addresses on the submission form on the website www. pinecrestreunion2013.net."

On Friday, June 14, there will be a get-together at Aberdeen Lake from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., featuring food, music and games.

On Saturday, June 15, a dinner dance is planned at the Southern Pines Country Club (Elks Lodge) from 6 p.m. to midnight. There will be a cash bar that Saturday evening.

Music for the weekend will be provided by DJ Robbie Farrell, of Aberdeen.

Both the Friday and Saturday events are included for $75 per person.

The reunion website (designed by Bill Toney, Class of '72), at www.pine crestreunion2013.net, is updated frequently.

"Please feel free to contact any of the committee members if you have information about classmates, suggestions for the reunion, or if you would like to volunteer on a reunion committee," says the spokesman.

"We meet each month, usually the third Thursday of the month, at First Bank at Pinecrest Plaza."
