Our president won (re-election) with mind games or, some might say untruths, that were not vigorously fought or responded to.
This is not just a bad dream, but bad reality. If the people of this country finally wake up, they will definitely see what this president is about.
This country is more divided than before his first election. There are more than 300 million people in this country. A lot more people didn’t vote than did.
Obama should be concerned about the others, but I somehow feel his liberal policies will be pushed forward hard.
More than 6,000 new regulations have been imposed in the last 90 days, on everything from private property to religious freedom, stormwater runoff and the timber industry.
Ten percent of these come from the environmental industry, which could cost just the timber industry millions.
These do not follow law. By law they are supposed to be announced ahead of time in April or October, but are being enacted immediately with significant impact. It is called the Regulatory Flexibility Act. Obama has passed the law for more than a year now.
Check out all the new taxes he is trying to push through the Congress. I do not see any cuts in spending except the drastic cuts that will take place in our defense of the U.S.A.

LLoyd The Kool-Aid is still working and facts mean nothing to Democrats, liberals or progressives. We need someone that will expose their BS in front of 62million viewers in the next debate. McCain nor Romney did that and they lost. We are in trouble and the reason is that the people that voted him into office, think he really cares about them. They called Slick Willie the First Black President and thought he actually cared about blacks, when in fact, he did not even care about his wife and Daughter, obvious by his behavior! Trump would have beaten him!

Mr. Barnes is another sore loser that just can’t believe that his side did not win. He obviously does not understand that America is a democracy and that the majority of American did not want the “core conservative principles of the libertarian and tea party ideologues.” In a democracy, without question, it is necessary that the minority express their viewpoint. However, to be effective they need to do so without being consumed with anger if the majority decides to not rule the way they demand. FYI: A president does not pass laws. He signs bills that have been passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Most of the sore losers like to point out that the Republican retained control in the House of Representative—so they are half the problem that Mr. Barnes is complaining about.

GEEEEZE Lloyd, you just HAD TO go and stir the swamp. Obama is in regardless of what reasons the conservatives conjur up. I personally don't like it but it is reality. Now the object of the conservative, for now, is to try to minimize the damage the socialist movement will exact on this nation. Not much we can do except yell real loud, and push the house to extremes. If Boehner can't do the job, we'll find someone who can. Obama's keynsian model of fiscal dopieness, is going to be pushed and people NEED to be awakened to the reality of "uberdebt" with no ceiling. This must be stopped, but the Dustys' of this county , of course will flatly state, debt is good and it's all Bush's fault.

Just an FYI not all regulation is bad regulation ( though I would reckon that many of the regulations passed are unneeded)

These forums seem to become a spitting match with no clear focus except disdain for each other.I swear , if I didn't know better, I would guess we are dealing with middleschool children, except some of the children behave better. Nobody makes any valid or pertinant points just pee on each others firehydrants. Now part of the commentary made reference to the vast array of new regulations, which is part of the control plan. Business, industry, construction and energy are already regulated to distraction and this only increases costs of doing business or stops certain progress points. The EPA is at the forefront of much of the regulatory powers, and we are being pushed to energy solutions we are not yet ready for. Neoenergy solutions are years away from everyday use but that does not seem to make any difference to the Obama administration.

Interesting. Many members of Congress as well as Federal agencies have been complaining that much of this "new" regulation was proposed long ago and was to have been put into effect long ago, in fact some of the regulation was mandated by one court or another but never effectuated. Little is actually "new". In the same vein no "new" taxes, just letting the Bush era cuts expire, which given the state of the economy was and is something that is long overdue.
