Criminal Superior

The following criminal judgments have been rendered in Moore County Superior Court.

Nov. 26, 2012

Steven L. Lawson, felony possess stolen goods/property consolidated with felony breaking and/or entering and felony larceny, 10 to 12 months in prison, suspended, three years supervised probation, five days in jail and credit for time served, comply with mental health or physical tests, do not assault, threaten or harass victim or any persons identified by probation, comply with curfew set by probation, $745 restitution to victims, pay $200 today and credit any payments made by co-defendant, attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee and upon compliance transfer to unsupervised probation; felony larceny from construction site, felony larceny, two counts felony possess stolen goods/property and felony breaking and/or entering, voluntary dismissal.

Edward L. Monroe, felony second-degree sexual offense, dismissed by the court; felony attempted second-degree sexual offense, found not guilty by jury; misdemeanor sexual battery, defense motion to dismiss at the close of state’s evidence allowed; misdemeanor assault on a female, found not guilty by jury.

Whitney P. Flinchum, felony embezzle controlled substances by employee of regular provider or physician consolidated with felony possession of cocaine, six to 17 months in prison, suspended, five years supervised probation or longer if necessary, 100 hours community service within 180 days and remit $250 fee, comply with mental and physical evaluations, do not threaten/harass or be found in workplaces identified by probation, comply with curfew set by probation, pay $1,800 restitution, attorney fees, $60 appointed counsel fee, $120 to Moore County Sheriff’s Office, $374.50 court costs and upon compliance may transfer to unsupervised probation; felony sell cocaine and felony deliver cocaine, voluntary dismissal.

Jordache W. Leach, felony breaking and/or entering consolidated with felony larceny and felony common-law robbery, 23 to 28 months in prison to run at the expiration of sentence now serving, credit eight days served, pay a total of $8,627.05 restitution to victims, attorney fees and $60 appointed counsel fee; felony possess stolen goods/property and misdemeanor assault on a female, voluntary dismissal.

Sara K. Perkins, felony trafficking in opium by possession, felony trafficking in opium by sell, felony trafficking in opium by deliver, felony trafficking in opium by transport, felony sell schedule II controlled substances and felony deliver schedule II controlled substances, voluntary dismissal.
