Foxfire PD: No Signs of Foul Play in Death

Foxfire police say there are no apparent signs of foul play in the the death of a 64-year-old man who was found dead in his home Monday morning.
At 9:20 a.m. Monday, Authorities were called to a home at 4 Dogwood Court after an unidentified individual reported finding two individuals on the floor.
One man, identified by police as Glen Robert Boerner, 64, was dead at the scene.
Police identified the second victim as the mother of Boerner, who also lives at the home.
Police Sgt. Chad Shue said she was taken to Moore Regional Hospital after she had a “medical emergency” that was “separate from and not believed to be related to the death."
Boerner’s body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
In addition to Foxfire police, Moore County Sheriff’s deputies and paramedics responded to the scene.
