UPDATE: Foxfire police said one man was found deceased at the home. Another woman was also found. She was having a "medical emergency" that police said was "separate from and not believed to be related to the death."

Police have not released the victim's name and said the body will be sent to the state medical examiner's office in Raleigh to determine cause of death.

The incident was reported at 9:20 a.m.

Foxfire police, Moore County Sheriff's officials and paramedics are on scene of a home at 4 Dogwood Court in Foxfire investigating what could be at least one fatality.

Reports came over the police scanner of an unidentified individual finding two bodies and a whiskey bottle on the floor. One of the victims was reported to be dead. The condition of the other victim is unknown at this time.
