211 Work Falls Hard on Parents

While I know the ongoing work to widen N.C. 211 needs to be done, it seems when the work being done is near FirstHealth, it gets done at night.

However, when it was near two schools (West Pine Elementary and Middle), it was done during daytime hours, with no regard for parents trying to pick up their children.

I guess no one cared that our children had to wait for us to get through one-lane traffic, which on a few days was backed up past N.C. 5.

On at least three days I was almost 30 minutes late picking up my child. And, no, I can’t just leave earlier. I work at Fort Bragg, and I don’t drive a plane.

This is just my opinion on what seems to always be preferential treatment of FirstHealth, with no regard for our children, or our time.
