One hundred and thirty-nine friends and Hartsell family members attended the annual reunion Sunday, Oct. 21, held at the Barn.

The two matriarch sisters, Carrie Hartsell Campbell and Mable Hartsell Carter, along with family from Georgia, Florida and Alaska, enjoyed food and fellowship on a beautiful fall day.

All the children were treated to hayrides and face painting.

After the dinner, a short memorial service for Harvey Hartsell was conducted. He was born and raised in West End, but lived in Florida with his wife, Betty, and three daughters for many years.

Many of his former classmates attended to give tribute to his family and faith.
