Twenty Yellow Rockers joined 650 other square dancers from around North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia at the annual North Carolina State Square Dance Convention held at the North Raleigh Hilton on Aug. 17-19.

This year's theme was "Viva Las Vegas." Dancers celebrated Friday evening in their Las Vegas costumes, attended numerous workshops during the weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves with other square dancers.

The Yellow Rockers will hold two open houses in September for couples interested in learning how to square dance.
