Talented Doctor

For years I have suffered with pain and heat on the top of my foot, making it uncomfortable to walk.

No one seemed to be able to diagnose the problem. This curbed my ability to lace up each morning to take my usual stroll around the lake.

X-rays showed arthritis and degenerative bone disease, which meant I had no choice but to live with the pain and move on.

That was my daily routine — until I met Dr. Karen Schorn, of Pinehurst Rheumatology.

Fifteen minutes into her exam, she said, “You have a collapsed arch in your left foot and this is causing your pain.”

Schorn, in my opinion, is an exceptional diagnostician. Thank you, Ted Natt and The Pilot, for featuring Schorn and Martin at their new location on Murdocksville Road.

I had those exact same symptoms - Pain & heat on top of my foot. I can't tell you how many Dr's I went to for relief - none could solve the problem. One day I had to pick up my shirts from the cleaners and was telling the owner about my pain. She took one look at my foot and said "If you want relief from the pain, you might take your wife's hot iron off your foot".

I am happy to hear you have found the root of the problem and are hopefully on your way to relief. I have heard a lot of good about the physician you speak of and I'm glad to hear of your good experience as well. Continued good health!
