It's that time of year again--freshly sharpened pencils, new clothes, and of course, that photo of your student ready to go, backpack and lunch box in tow, on the first day of school.

Be it a significant milestone or an annual reminder of how quickly our children grow, parents love documenting the start of the school year, and we at The Pilot would like to share these moments with the community.

Send us your students' photos from the first day with their name, grade and school by Thursday, Aug. 30 for the chance to see it published in the Sunday, Sept. 2 edition of The Pilot.
