Coughlin Elected Treasurer of Chamber Association

Patrick Coughlin, president and CEO of the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, has been elected treasurer of the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE).
He was elected to the post during the association's annual meeting in Pawley's Island, S.C.
Coughlin has served on the CACCE board since 2009. He served as co-chairman of the 2011 annual conference, hosted at the Pinehurst Resort.
In addition receiving CACCE's 2012 Communi-cations Award for LifeStyles Magazine, the Moore County Chamber was a finalist for CACCE's 2012 Chamber of the Year and American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) 2009 National Chamber of the Year.
In addition to leading the Moore County Chamber to achieve these recognitions, Coughlin is respected in the chamber industry as an innovator and thought leader, the association said in a news release.
He frequently speaks at chambers throughout the Carolinas as well as CACCE programs on the evolving Chamber business model, membership recruitment and retention, business-government relations, and leadership development programs.
CACCE is a professional development organization dedicated to improving the educational opportunities for Chamber of Commerce executives and staff members in North and South Carolina. The organization was formed in 1994 when the North and South Carolina state chamber associations merged.
