The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.
Arrests
Aug. 4: Charles Franklin Liles, Jr., 29, of Sanford, failure to appear.
Aug. 5: Wendell Thomas Isaac Brown, 25, of Southern Pines, manufacture/possess weapon of mass destruction.
Aug. 9: Randall Devon Williams, 34, of Southern Pines, assault on a female by male over 18 years of age; Tonia Ann McMillan, 43, of Laurinburg, uttering a forged instrument, obtaining property by false pretense and possession of stolen weapon.
Aug. 10: Brian Preston Chisholm, 24, of Carthage, drug possession.
Aug. 11: Damon Saqawn Harris, 21, of Southern Pines, assault on a female by male over 18, injury to personal property; Delsie Cecelia McRae, 44, of Aberdeen, larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Aug. 13: Douglas Frank Johnson, 24, of Pinehurst, true bill of indictment.
Aug. 14: Alan Dean Patrick II, 18, of Carthage, drug possession.
Aug. 15: Kajah Monikk Elizabeth Gaddy, 32, of Aberdeen, felony larceny, buying/receiving stolen property; Michael David Poole, 37, of Pinehurst, second-degree trespass.
Aug. 16: Monika Alexis Powell, 21, of Southern Pines, larceny; Tianna Renee Lucky, 17, of Southern Pines, shoplifting and injury to personal property; Steve Murchison Jr., 20, of Southern Pines, shoplifting.
Aug. 17: Joshua Lee Kelly, 27, of Carthage, possession of stolen goods; Robert Lucas Sutphen Jr., 26, of Southern Pines, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance.
Aug. 18: Ashley Tyler Stevenson, 34, of Southern Pines, simple assault simple assault and battery or affray and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reports
Aug. 9: Police responded to a report of a subject cashing a check without the consent of the owner of the account; Male, 34, reported being pushed and struck with a chair during an incident at a home in the 1200 block of West Connecticut Avenue; Male, 22, reported someone broke into a home in the 200 block of Tanglewood Drive and stole military equipment, a wallet and identification, a television and video game console. The victim’s 2012 Toyota was also taken; Female, 85, reported another used the victim’s credit card without permission.
Aug. 10: An unidentified individual reported another touched a juvenile in a sexual manner during an incident at a home in the 800 block of South Mechanic Street.
Aug. 11: An unidentified individual reported being assaulted in the Downtown Park.
Aug. 12: Male, 36, reported someone attempted to strike him with a vehicle during an incident in the parking lot of the 1800 block of U.S. 1 South; Male, 37, reported another threatened him after calling him numerous times at a hotel in the 200 block of Windstar Place.
Aug. 13: An employee at Hibbett Sports, 10205 U.S. 15-501, reported the theft of keys and locks from the store; Female, 53, reported the theft of a ring from a home on Wake Forest Court; Female, 61, reported damage to landscaping at a home in the 600 block of West Wisconsin Avenue; A town employee reported lines and dots painted on the roadway in the 100 block of Artillery Road.
Aug. 15: Male, 58, reported someone entered a home in the 600 block of Murray Hill Road and removed copper; An employee of Budget A/C Services reported the theft of two air condensing units from a residence on Wake Forest Court; Male, 71, reported the theft of money from the victim’s wallet during an incident at a gas station in the 200 block of Bell Avenue.
Aug. 16: Female, 26, reported someone grabbed her by the neck and pushed her during an incident at a home in the 300 block of Shaw Avenue; A town employee reported someone spray-painted road signs in the 100 block of Bethesda Road near Indiana Avenue, and in the 300 block of South Knoll Road near Palmer Drive; A town employee reported someone spray-painted graffiti on the sidewalk in the 100 block of North East Broad Street and East Pennsylvania Avenue; Male, 68, reported someone spray-painted graffiti on a brick wall in the 1500 block of West Pennsylvania Avenue.
Aug. 17: An employee of UPS, 202 Air Tool Drive, reported the theft of six firearms from a locked case at a trailer on business property; Female, 62, reported receiving a threatening email from another at her place of business in the 100 block of Bradford Village Circle, Southern Pines; Female, 40, reported another choked her and took her cellphone during an incident in the 500 block of South Hardin Street; Male, 34, reported damage to the hood and driver’s side mirror of a 2001 Cadillac parked in the 100 block of Boling Way; An employee of Pinehurst Toyota, 10760 U.S. 15-501, reported the theft of cash from the business.
Aug. 18: Female, 62, reported another grabbed her, pushed her down and then spit on her during an incident at a home in the 700 block of South Henley Street; Male, 47, reported another took a dog without consent of the owner from an area in the 600 block of South Henley Street; Female, 29, reported the theft of a cellphone during an incident in the 700 block of South Henley Street.
Aug. 19: Male, 61, reported receiving repeated unwanted phone calls at a home in the 400 block of West Delaware Avenue; Female, 38, reported an unknown subject broke into a trailer in a parking lot of the 100 block of Murray Hill Road, Southern Pines.
