The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Reports

Aug. 14: Female, 42, reported someone spray-painted village trash cans at a home on Glen Meadow Court; Male, 70, reported another made unauthorized purchases using the victim’s credit card.

Aug. 16: Female, 68, reported another took items from a night stand drawer without permission at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital; Female, 75, reported another obtained money from the victim by false pretenses.

Aug. 17: Male, 71, reported another male, 38, was bitten by a dog at a home on Cypress Pointe Drive; Female, 84, reported damage to a patio screen at a home on Village Lane; Female, 29, reported a case of identity theft that happened at a medical facility in the 100 block of Memorial Drive; Female, 63, reported damage to a window at a home on Culdee Road.

Aug. 18: Male, 85, reported someone took cash from a wallet while the victim was at a medical facility in the 100 block of Memorial Drive.

Aug. 19: Female, 33, reported someone entered a 2002 Mitsubishi without permission while the vehicle was in a parking lot at Rassie Wicker Park.
