The NC Coca-Cola Bottlers Council has awarded Durham, Lee and Moore counties with Community Improvement Grants.

Keep Durham County Beautiful, Lee County Solid Waste and Keep Moore County Beautiful were the recipients of $500 grants in recognition of their volunteer-based projects in litter prevention, recycling and waste reduction, and beautification.

Durham, Aberdeen and Sanford Coca-Cola Bottling Companies provided funding to support organizations in their respective counties that are creating cleaner, safer and more livable community environments.

The N.C. Coca-Cola Bottlers Council has partnered with Keep N.C. Beautiful to identify and reward organizations that make an impact on the cleanliness of their communities.

Through funding from the Bottlers Council, KNCB will offer $500 grants to 30 organizations over a three-year period.
