The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.

Arrests

Aug. 11: Christopher Robert Stirewalt, 25, of Carthage, driving while impaired and drug possession.

Reports

Aug. 8: Male, 44, reported that someone broke into a storage facility on Noah Road, Robbins, and removed fishing poles and tackle boxes with fishing supplies.

Aug. 9: Female, 78, reported someone knocked down a mailbox at a home on Browns Mill Road, Robbins; Male, 52, reported the theft of an automobile from a home on James Street, Vass; Male, 69, reported someone entered a home on Union Church Road, Carthage, and disconnected wiring; An employee of O’Connor Co., Fields Road, Aberdeen, reported someone removed a tractor and a set of loading forks after entering a lock parking area on North Ridge Street.

Aug. 10: Female, 55, reported the theft of a puppy from a yard at a home on Holly Place, West End; Female, 42, reported someone removed a washing machine, a dryer and clothes, and damaged a screen door and sheetrock after entering a home on Ashleigh Blvd., Aberdeen; Male, 52, reported the theft of a trailer from a home on Heritage Farm Road, Whispering Pines.

Aug. 11: Male, 64, reported the theft of a weed trimmer and a lawn mower from a home on N.C. 22 in Carthage.

Aug. 12: Female, 44, reported someone let the air out of tires on a vehicle parked at a home on Bell Ford Road, Aberdeen.
