Aberdeen Police Seek Two in Robbery

Aberdeen police are looking for two men who reportedly robbed a local convenience store early Friday morning.
Police say two black males with their faces covered by shirts entered a the Kangaroo at the corner of U.S. 15-501 and N.C. 211 at 4:28 a.m. Friday and demanded money.
“They threatened the clerk as if they had a gun, but no gun was displayed,” said Deputy Chief Jim Foster of the Aberdeen police.
The suspects escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was uninjured.
The first suspect is described as 5-foot-7 and 160 lbs. He was wearing a black tank top, black shorts and had a backpack.
The second suspect is described as 5-foot-6 and 175 lbs. and was wearing a black shirt, and maroon or red shorts and a black bandana.
