A Star man faces charges in connection with a larceny that occurred in Robbins.

On April 4 Moore County Sheriff's investigators, with the help of Montgomery County Investigators arrested Anthony Brian Williams, 28, of the 200 block of Harper Street, and charged him with felony larceny, safe cracking, breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

The arrest stems from an investigation into a report received on April 2 from Elizabeth and Clyde Williamson of Robbins. The Williamsons reported that both their residences had been broken into and that a safe and personal papers had been stolen along with a Suburu utility vehicle.

Law Enforcement officers located stolen property from both break-ins.

Williams was given a $10,000 secured bond and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Center. Williamson’s first court appearance is scheduled for May 17, 2012 in Moore County District Court.

Williamson is not the defendant.

A description of the suspect and/or a photo of him would have been a nice aid in determining our reaction to the crimes committed. At least that is how it's been done in the past.

Saw the headline "Starman faces charges", just figured it was Jeff Bridges. Or David Bowie.
